I am an occupational radiation worker. What do I do if I think I am Pregnant?

Text Box: Once you declare your pregnancy to your employer, your dosimetry service provider can send your radiation safety officer a Fetal Monitoring dosimeter which is to be worn on your lower torso. This dosimeter is worn on a monthly cycle to monitor exposure the fetus may receive. It is recommended the fetus not receive more than 500 mrem during the entire pregnancy period. This is a requirement of 10 CFR20 for those NRC Licensees. Please refer here for more information.
