IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL SPEAKERS -
Click here to view a new PowerPoint presentation detailing guidelines for speakers
Finished PowerPoint presentations must be received no later than May 11 to be included in the Symposium Proceedings. Because the Proceedings will be distributed at the meeting, it is not possible to make exceptions to this deadline!
On-site editing / revision / updating / addition resources will NOT be available. In other words,
Even if a PowerPoint presentation is received "on time", there is simply no way to accommodate any last-minute changes
All presentations must be in PPT format (not PPS or PDF)
All presentations must be compatible with Office 2003 or earlier (no Office 2007 formats please)
Electronic copies of presentations must be sent as e-mail attachments in PowerPoint format to Bruce Dicey (BDicey@dosimetryresources.com) no later than May 11, 2007.
Please contact Bruce by e-mail if you need to send your presentation on a CD or other medium.
Hard copy handouts are the responsibility of each presenter - If you wish to have handouts,
Handouts should be printed in PowerPoint handout format, three slides per page.
Bring 150 copies of your handout to the Symposium
Large volume duplication services will NOT be available on site
You are invited to submit topics for consideration as presentations at the 26th Annual International Dosimetry Symposium and National Dosimetry Records Conference, to be held at the Marriott Sable Oaks Resort in Portland, Maine 3 - 9 June, 2007.
The purposes of the Symposium are
Each presentation is normally scheduled for 45 minutes, including time (up to 15 minutes) for questions, answers, and expanded discussion. In very special circumstances exceptions to the 45 minute time limit may be arranged by the Task Force.
Symposium proceedings will be published on CDs, which will be distributed at the meeting
All presentations must be in PowerPoint 2000 or 2003 format.
Unless special arrangements are made, presentations should normally be limited to 40 minutes, including time for questions and answers (presentations on the Symposium CD-ROM will be converted to PDF to protect the author's intellectual property.)
